  5. Althought this doesn't contain the percentages, I thought it might be a little
  6. interesting to look at... it's directly from the test that we took when we
  7. first entered medical school (me and the rest of my friends in my m-1 class)
  8. It gives a brief summary of the different types of personality and some
  9. other things...

  12. ISTJ:  serious, quiet, earn success by concentration and thouroughness. 
  13. Practical, orderly, matter-of-fact, logical, realistic and dependable.  See
  14. to it that everything is well organized.  Take responsibility.  Make up their
  15. own minds as to what should be accomplished and work toward it steadily,
  16. regardless of protests or distractions.
  17.  
  18. ISFJ:  quiet, friendly, responsible and conscientious.  Work devoted to meet
  19. their obligations.  Lend stability to any project or group.  Thorough,
  20. painstaking, accurate.  Their interests are usually not technical.  Can be
  21. patient with necessary details.  Loyal, considerate, perceptive, concerned
  22. with how other people feel.

  24. INFJ:  succeed by perserverance, originality and desire to do whatever
  25. is needed or wanted.  Put their best efforts into their work.  Quietly forceful,
  26. conscientious, concerned for others.  Respected for their firm principles.
  27. Likely to be honored and followed for their clear convictions as to how best
  28. to serve the common good.

  30. INTJ:  Usually have original minds and great drive for their own ideas and
  31. purposes.  In fields that appeal to them, they have a fine power to organize a
  32. job and carry it through with or without help.  Skeptical, critical,
  33. independent, determined, sometimes stubborn.  Must learn to yield less
  34. important points in order to win the most important.

  36. ISTP:  Cool onlookers- quiet, reserved, observing and analyzing life with
  37. detached curiousity and unexpected flashes of original humor.  Usually
  38. interested in cause and effect, how and why mechanical things work, and in
  39. organizing facts using logical principles. 
  40.  
  41. ISFP:  Retiring, quietly friendly, sensitive, kind, modest about ehri abilites.
  42. Shun disagreements, do not force their opinions or values on others.  Usually
  43. do not care to lead but are often loyal followers.  Often relaxed about
  44. getting things done, because they enjoy the present moment and do not want
  45. to spoil it by undue haste or exertion.
  46.  
  47. INFP  Full of enthusiasms and loyalties, but seldom talk of these until they
  48. know you well.  Care about learning, ideas, languaged, and independent 
  49. projects of their own.  Tend to undertake too much, then somehow get it done.
  50. Friendly, but often too absorbed in what they are doing to be sociable.  Little
  51. concerned with possessions or physical surroundings.
  52.  
  53. INTP:  Quiet and reserved.  Especially enjoy theoretical or scientific
  54. pursuits.  Like solving problems with logic and analysis.  Usually interested
  55. mainly in ideas, with little liking for parites or small talk.  Tend to have
  56. sharply defined interests.  Need careers where some strong interest can
  57. be used and useful.
  58.  
  59. ESTP:  Good at the on-the-spot problem solving.  Do not worry, enjoy whatever
  60. comes along.  Tend to like mechanical things and sports, with friends on the
  61. side.  Adaptable, tolerant, generally conservative in values.  Dislike long
  62. explanations.  Are best with real things that can be worked, handled, taken
  63. apart, or put together.
  64.  
  65. ESFP:  Outgoing, easygoing, accepting friendly, enjoy everything and make
  66. things more fun for others by their enjoyment.  Like sports and making things
  67. happen.  Know what's going on and join in eagerly.  Find remembering facts 
  68. easier than mastering theories.  Are best in situations that need sound common
  69. sense and practical ability with people as well as with things.
  70.  
  71. ENFP:  Warmly enthusiastic, high-spirited, ingenious, imaginative.  Able to
  72. do almost anything that interests them.  Quick with a solution for any 
  73. difficulty and ready to help anyone with a problem.  Often rely on their
  74. ability to improvise instead of preparing in advance.  Can usually find
  75. compelling reasons for whatever they want. 
  76.  
  77. ENTP:  Quick, ingenious, good at many things.  Stimulating company, alert and
  78. outspoken.  May argue for fun on either side of a question.  Resourceful
  79. in solving new and challenging problems, but may neglect routine assignments.
  80. Apt to turn to one new interest after another.  Skullful in finding logical
  81. reasons for what they want.
  82.  
  83. ESTJ:  Practical, realistic, matter-of-fact, with a natural head for business
  84. or mechanics.  Not intereseted in subjects they see no use for, but can
  85. apply themselves when necessary.  Like to organize and run activites.  May
  86. make good administrators, especially if they remember to consider others'
  87. feelings and points of view.
  88.  
  89. ESFJ:  Warm hearted, talkative, popular, conscientious, born cooperators,
  90. active committee members.  Need harmony and may be good at creating it.  Always
  91. doing something nice for someone.  Work best with encouragement and praise.  
  92. Main intereset is in things that directly and visibly affect people's lives.
  93.  
  94. ENFJ:  Responsive and responsible.  Generally feel real concern for what
  95. others think or want, and try to handle things with due regard for the other
  96. person's feelings.  Can present a proposal or lead a group discussion with
  97. ease and tact.  Sociable, popular, sympathetic. Responsive to praise and
  98. criticism.
  99.  
  100. ENTJ:  Hearty, frank, decisive, leaders in activities.  Usually good in
  101. anything that requires reasoning and intelligent talk, such as public speaking.
  102. Are usually well informed and enjoy adding to their fund of knowledge.  May
  103. sometimes appear more positive and confident than their experience in an 
  104. area warrants.
